NEW British Standard First Aid Kits

Hello

LATEST NEWS

July this year saw the launch of the new British Standard for First Aid Kits.  These kits and the revised content will become standard for the workplace January 2012.  Over the next few weeks a range of first aid kits with the new content will be introduced to the products on First Aid Kit Store with information on the changes and a helpful guide to which kit to choose for number of people in the workplace.  This will only be a guide and it is still recommended that a full risk assessment is carried out.

The kits now include Burns Dressings and Foil Blankets as standard inclusion and less bandages.  This, I feel, is an excellent decision by the British Standards Institute.  Accidents involving Burns happen so easily and without quick action to stop the skin burning can leave disfiguring scars.

To First Aid Kits in the Home, Car, Workplace etc. are vital for immediate interim treatment of injuries.  The number of patients through A & E Departments all over the country is huge, where there are people there will always be accidents.

First Aid Kits and Eco Friendly Products

Please  make sure you have adequate first aid supplies for when you are at home or out and about travelling.  First Aid Kit Store has a good range of kits including First Aid Travel Kits suitable for one person and First Aid Kits for Motorist or to include in a Caravan.

Every weekend during this lovely weather people are having BBQ's.  If you are one of these people who love having BBQ's please make sure you have even the basic first aid for burns such as Burnshield Dressings and Hydrogel Blots.  Using these products will help alleviate pain and promote healing.  People don't believe an accident will ever happen to them but it can and unfortunately sometimes does so be prepared and have emergency first aid treatment to hand.

Lots of people have allergies which are not only caused by the environment but could also be caused by nasty chemicals in everyday products we use around our homes.  A great site to look at is Green Eco Life (www.greenecolife.co.uk.  The products I have used are great.  They last ages and do not cost the earth!   I particularly like the polish and washing up liquid.  The Multi Purpose Cleaner used with the Eco Cleaning System is brilliant.  And of course the 'Log Maker' using old newspapers is amazing and will keep me snug and warm all winter.  Take a look at the site, you will find it very interesting, with information on PV Solar Panels, LED Lighting and much more.  All the products could SAVE you money and in some cases  MAKE you money.

Take a look now, you will not regret it.

Have a happy and safe August.
